Hello and welcome, bienvenue, willkommen!

My name is Bea. I’ve not had an online presence for years, but I made a promise to a friend and so here I am! I’m not sure if I’m more excited or nervous, so please be gentle with me.

I want to share stories with you, some from my memory and others from my imagination. I’ll make sure to always tell you which is which. I hope you find something in them that interests or moves you. If I’m very lucky, you might even laugh.

I want to share my love of books, movies, and music. I plan to do this with reviews, recommendations, lists, and anything else that comes to mind. I hope you find something new to love.

I want to share photographs, pieces of the world that I find beautiful. By keeping each photo unedited after the shot is taken, I hope to show you something genuine and maybe a little magical.

My continuing goal is to find happiness. Bracken and Bell is my way of sharing that pursuit with you.
